In Memory of One
of Noah's Angel

Noah's Great Grandma
Virginia "Christine" McKee
went to heaven on July 28, 2002

Grandmother McKee was the only great grandparent that Noah had the pleasure of getting to know.  Grandma McKee was always so sweet and kind to Noah.  She treated him special - and always said that "he was too pretty to be a boy."  She and Noah always used to share crackers together!

She had a special, gentle way with Noah and was very proud of him! And he simply adored her as well!

Grandma's favorite color was pink. People used to always comment that her white hair made her resemble Barbara Bush. She was the mother of 3 children, grandma to 7 grandchildren, and great grandma to 5 great-grandchildren.  Another great grandchild and a great, great grandchild have been born since she went to heaven. She was 80 years old when she passed away.

Grandma McKee went to heaven on July 28, 2002.  Noah came to the hospital to see her one last time - and in his own special way, I think he understood that he would be saying goodbye.

While she was physically with us, she was always so proud of Noah and always looking out for him.  And now, she is still with us spiritually and in our hearts - and I know she is still proud of Noah and looking out for him.  She is his special angel! I pray that Noah can be as courageous in all his battles as Grandma McKee was in her last.

The passage below, from the Bible, was Grandma's favorite passage and was read to her during the time right before her death and was also read at her funeral.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever"

~ The 23rd Psalm
