Many of you know that things have been hectic with
Jason's mom being in the hospital so we have not done the best job
updating the blog lately! Noah is doing well in school and has adjusted to
the change in classroom and teacher very well! He still loves space and is
a big fan of the movie Space Camp (from the 80s) He is already excitedly
planning his birthday party - even though it is still 2 months away!
With school in session, Noah and I have less time to play on the computer!
We will try and update on a weekly basis though! Thanks for reading and
paying attention and fussing at my Mama for not keeping it more updated!

Noah's open house at school was today. He did not
behave well. He cried and did not want to go to his classroom. I
guess he is being a typical kid and not ready for school to be over!

having some heart problems. Please keep her in your prayers.

Grandaddeee bought some model rocket kits and put
them together then we went to a field and lunched them. Grandaddeee lets
me push the button to launch them! They go very very high! We went and
launched rockets Friday when I spent the night at Grandaddeee's and
Nana's.
Saturday Momma and Nana went shopping at the back to school sales and me,
Grandaddeee and Daddy went and launched MORE rockets!

Noah is so into space right
now! We read books about space, talk about space - he LOVES space. He will
sign "drive" and tell me he wants to drive a space shuttle! I tell him to
work hard and he can!! He might be the first person to go to space with
cerebral palsy!

Nana and Grandaddeee had to go to Alabama for a
funeral and on the way back they stopped by the Space Museum since Noah is
into space right now. This is a pic they took for Noah of the space
shuttle.

Noah's Grandad's company had an appreciation day at
Carowinds - an amusement park about 1 1/2 hours away. This was Noah's
second trip to Carowinds this summer! He really loves it and especially
loves the roller coasters! It was warm enough this time that we could have
done some of the fun things at the water park adjacent to Carowinds - but
no! Noah only wanted to ride the roller coasters. This is the first
time we have been anywhere that had horses (carousel) and Noah did not
want to ride them! My baby is not a baby anymore - he is growing up!! :(

coaster Nana has been on in almost 31 years!!
Noah and Daddy await to take off on the taxi cab roller coaster! This is
one of Noah's Favorite rides at Carowinds - aside from the Scooby Doo
Ghoster Coaster!
Noah drives Nana. Noah is such a good driver and actually steers the
wheels the way it should go. And he makes sure his passengers are buckled
up!

"there are no pics of Noah having fun with his Mom!" I was taking all the
pics in these photos! I did have lots of fun with Noah too and Nana has
photos of that on her digital camera and I will post them soon!

Today was my last day of camp! It was fun! Mama and I made sugar cookies yesterday and I took them to camp for my friends. Everyone said they were yummy and said I was a good cookie maker!

This weekend I went to my grandparents and they took me swimming. On Sunday, I went with Mama and Daddy to see Shrek 2. It was storming outside and the power went off in the theater. It was very dark!! Then lightning struck something at the theater and they could not get the movie to work again!

Camp has been fun this week. We made smores and played with a pet turtle. We learned some about Canada too. I played with my cousins, Caylin and Melissa after camp.

Mama and I went to swim with Nana at her pool yesterday. We had so much fun. Then I took a nap and slept till Grandaddeee got home.
Then Nana and Grandaddee asked me and Mama to spend the night and I talked Mama into it!! So today, we went swimming twice and went shopping. Nana and Mama had to go to the craft store so I got to go to the toy store!! It was fun!!

We had a parade at camp today! We wore Uncle Sam Hats that we made! We also made trail mix! Yummy!
There is no camp tomorrow. Mama and I are going to swim with Nana at her pool.

Today was the last day of summer camp for the week. I go back on Monday. We had a fiesta and made tortillas and .maracas. It was so much fun! I really like summer camp!

Mama
Noah has been eating like crazy lately!! This is a big deal to us because at one point his doctors discussed and mentioned having to put a feeding tube in Noah to help with his weight gain. Eating has always been a struggle as Noah is a picky eater. Some of his eating problems result from oral motor issues - he doesn't like mac and cheese, spaghetti, rice, things like that. He doesn't like sweets either - he likes salty, crunchy foods like CHIPS! Lately though, he has been taking off - eating cheeseburgers as often as we let him!! Chicken Sandwiches, Ham and cheese, chicken nuggets, etc!! We are beginning to notice that his cheeks are getting chubby and he is filling out some and looking like an older boy!

I started
summer camp today!! It is at my school and so much fun!! We are learning
about Mexico this week and made piņatas today and are going to have a
fiesta later in the week. I LOVE summer camp!!
